No reply from the company re the USB sticks yet.

Re the installing beside your current system, as I mentioned never used a Mac before but if this is something you are interested in then definitely save anything of importance on the Mac (just in case) then I'd try installing beside the present system.  It will give you the option to use entire disk or instal beside existing system, choose the latter.  Then from memory it is all automatic, just sit back, answer a few simple questions as to username, computer name and password choice.  Then watch the magic occur.

Hopefully, you will hear from them soon on the USB stick.  Interesting concept, makes it easier.

My Mac is the only PC out of the three I have, that needs some updating.  It would be ideal to get away from it's current OS.  I've not been a fan and have found it very finicky/quirky compared to Windows.  Windows does have it's own issues too, like Windows 11 has issues working with my Alienware.

I like the idea of having both options in the OS and "watching the magic occur".

Thanks for your suggestions and advice as fussing with computers isn't so much my wheelhouse and having confidence in making changes with support makes it an easier task to have you to reach out too, when I do.

*Windows OS vs Mac OS would be a good discussion and even a good poll 😆
