I just found out the hard way and most abruptly to my soul yesterday, that Microsoft is deprecating their Publisher app. All support will be ending in October 2026. 

Yesterday, I went to go open Publisher and I found an empty folder.  I hadn't looked in Publisher since about 2022 when my Dell computer crashed.  I thought I had all of the documents on my external hard drive, but they are not there either.  After about three exhaustive hours, I still have not located these documents.  Most of it is graphic artwork I created for the theater department in my daughter's school years ago.  I was the stage mom, as well as over all of the graphic work for creating the theater programs.  All of this artwork was created in Publisher and is dear to me.

If you have Publisher and haven't taken a look in it for awhile, take a look and plan to get your documents in a safe place outside of their cloud.  Best of Luck!!

Soooo...here's my update.  I found the USB drive that had all of the design work I did during my daughter's tenure in theater, yay!  The bad news is I still don't have the other design files from Publisher.  I've done some research on this and I'm hoping the issue is because I changed computers and Microsoft needs a key or something?  I'm going to do more work on this tomorrow.  Wish me luck!!
