We recently watched the five episode series on Netflix about Three Mile Island Nuclear meltdown in Middletown, Pa.
Meltdown at Three Mile Island
It was a documentary, as well as several interviews from residents of Middletown, and interviews with the employees, particularly a "whistleblower" that made the hard decision to come forward and tell the truth about what actually happened.
We have also watched documentaries on Fukushima and Chernobyl nuclear meltdowns.
What was interesting is the time this accident happened at Three Mile Island, the movie,
China Syndrome with Jane Fonda just came out a month before. China Syndrome was about a serious nuclear meltdown. Explanation below:

China syndrome a hypothetical sequence of events following the meltdown of a nuclear reactor, in which the core melts through its containment structure and deep into the earth. It takes its name from China as being on the opposite side of the earth from a reactor in the US.
