Linux Reads Windows Filesystem

Further to my post giving an insight into the FREE Linux Desktop ( https://techsrealm.com/group/topic/view/7/117/linux-desktop-a-brief-look ) I did miss pointing out an important feature, the fact that Linux can read the Windows filesystem, open image files, video files, music files, PDF files as well as Microsoft documents, Word, Excel and Powerpoint.

Provided you instal Linux onto an external USB stick or alongside Windows then the complete Windows filesystem can be accessed.

Here is a short 5 minute video showing how this is done.

Thank you!  Have you tried installing Linux on a Mac? Just wondering if it works as well?  I've found my Mac a little quirky in the OS compared to Microsoft OS.
