Tech Layoffs Are Happening Faster Than at Any Time During the Pandemic

For years, many tech companies aggressively added workers amid strong revenue growth and rising share prices. The hiring pace picked up during the pandemic as individuals and companies leaned on technology to help get through lockdowns and other Covid-related disruptions.

Now, the same businesses are laying off employees.......

Have you been affected by this downgrade of tech layoffs? How are you coping? What are your plans? How do you compete with others in this profession?

I've been down to 1 hr a day for about a year now. It's rough. I'll be using Indeed again to look for more work. There's a lot of competition though. Usually around 20k apply for the same jobs I do.

That is an astonishing wrong on such talent as yours and no doubt the many others in the tech industry that are highly trained, experienced, and willing to work and give their very best and so much more. I had no idea there was so much competition on the same jobs either. It sounds like Indeed is the best professional job search environment for quality techs and likely the best organizations with good listings. I hope this year is your year and something amazing will come your way. You deserve it!!
