Who DMs with Twitter (aka X)?

    Not sure how many DM using Twitter, only ever used twitter DMs when a company has asked that I DM further details of a query.

    My preference is Signal but of course most use whatsapp, nevertheless, if you are considering using encrypted DMs with twitter here is an interesting video from Naomi Brockwell.

    I haven't used DM on Twitter. I'm kind of in the realm of "nah" on private messaging at all large websites as no matter what they say, your messages are in their database.

    I have your link open, very intriguing information. Thank you for sharing as this is really important information, because most people believe their messages are private at these websites but in reality not so much.

    I don't think I've ever really DM'd with Twitter, though I've used Messenger for Facebook on ocassion. In regards to direct messages however, I've mostly used Discord.

    Oddly I'm not registered with Discord, I know it is popular but not actually looked in to it.

    Guessing it is used for other purposes than DM?

    Yes! DM's, calling, and video chatting, are only one part of Discord's service, you can also have servers, which work similar to threads, but with the capability of sub-categories and even voice chat within those servers.
