Every home has their limitations as to what each room should or will be used for and sometimes it's whats left that determines if you have a room that can serve as a home office.

At my house, every room is occupied for a reason or purpose.  I wanted to move some furniture from one room to another or switch out desks from one room to another but it's just not possible.  If I move furniture then whatever Feng Shui I achieved in one room will now affect another.  How your work space works for you is pretty big and for a long time, my work space has been off of my kitchen.  My kitchen is the social hub of our house, which means if I'm doing anything of a serious nature that requires concentration, I can expect interruptions.

After tiresome thoughts with myself over several months, I had to go back to my only solution and that was make where I "office" more efficient in my little corner.  I took advantage of Amazon's Prime Day this week and ordered some lighting that I'll put under three areas of my desk.  I have a gaming desk with multiple shelving, but it's just dark in the corner and I'd like to see better below the desk where I have my printer and computer, as well as have better lighting to write.  I ordered a small desk to make an "L" shape next to my larger desk and also added some file/document sorting shelving.

I have a left over mobile stand up desk that I'll move to an extended turret area in my bedroom, so if I have to take any business or personal calls I can move my laptop in that room.  The only part of my life that isn't quiet are my dogs, otherwise I could take phone calls in my kitchen and living room area.

When I get my set up finished I'll share pictures.

How are you set up to do your business stuff and fun stuff at home?  Are you super organized or do you thrive in a bit of chaos?
