At what point is it ideal to replace your computer rather then continuing to replace parts? What do you base a replacement choice on?
My dd has an Area 51 Aleinware desktop. For some reason it failed early in it's use. I believe we are going to replace the parts that broke, rather then getting a new computer. Price wise, it's $1300.00 in parts vs $5000 or more for a new computer? That makes sense to me though I'm not sure it's always an easy choice depending on RAM etc.?
