I started building rigs way back in the MS-DOS days. So I have been around a few minutes. Ran my own computer shop for over 20 years. Still building rigs, just not for your everyday Joe now. Most of what I build now is over 2k.



Ran my own auto repair shop for a while. Computers and auto repairs in the same building. What a combo. lol



Well I got out of both and started my own trucking company. I drive a big rig now. Also my wife started a freight broker company. We work hand and hand on both things.



I still repair cars and trucks. And still build computers.



I guess my hobby is playing around with forums. And helping people out when I can.



I hope to hang out here and help out if people need it.


Welcome @fords8 and thanks for sharing a bit about you. You have been very accomplished in business with both computer and auto and now on to trucking. What a journey and also with a wonderful happy life, married with 4 kids and 4 grandsons. I'm sure they adore you!

Congrats on your big decision to start a trucking company. That is definitely where to be. I have a friend, who's husband left the banking business last year, went to trucking school and now is driving from Wednesday to Sunday every week. Such a transition for them, but they are happy. Excellent that your wife has complemented your business with a freight broker company. That's America. If you have the idea, you can bring it to a reality. This must be a very exciting time for you both on this new adventure.
