Touch n Pay - Beware

We must avoid paranoia but this is a potential issue.  So many people nowadays touch n pay for low cost items and forego a receipt that some ghost payments could go unnoticed.

I tend to avoid using a debit card on my main bank account as fraudulent use could wipe out my balance, I nowadays, especially when travelling, use pre paid debit cards.  Bank transfers are almost immediate so keep the higher balance in your personal account and transfer as needed to pre paid debit card.

Very smart to use pre-paid credit cards when traveling.  Totally great idea!!

I used to not get receipts, but lately I've been getting receipts so I can make sure what I was really charged.   I do also have several accounts that I manage the same way as you suggested with high or low balances in each account for protective measures depending on the intended use of the account.
