Excellent presentation by Dr Suneel Dhand giving his opinion as to why so many doctors think the same way and are, in his words, terrified to step out of line.

Great video and there have been a lot of doctor's that lost their licenses over Covid in many countries.

That was disgraceful, how one can ban doctors, scientists, chemists just because they had a differing opinion, maybe in 100 years they will look back in critical amazement at what occurred.

Sadly same happening with climate and the green agenda.

Doctor's and scientist's are on the front line when it comes to witnessing illness and determining causes.  They're literally in the trenches.

On the climate change, "they" are squirming a bit on their forecast for the 2024 Atlantic Hurricane season.  You can see the conversation evolve on the Weather Channel and other Weather related channels to explain it away why their computer models failed.  They just need to admit that this hurricane season was wonky and there was no way of knowing the Sahara dust would affect the Atlantic as extreme as it did, among many other reasons.  *I'm a serious weather junkie, lol*

Appreciate going off subject but green issues are throwing up a few unintended consequences.  In UK some electric buses are so heavy that road surfacing now needs to be thicker, the weight of the buses and road surface increase are affecting underground water pipes.

Also, group of us were chatting last night, seems the heavier weight of battery vehicles is causing more pollution now from tyre (tire) and brake wear, never worried about that before but now they are starting to measure emissions from tyres and brakes.  They want to stop us driving.

That's pretty extraordinary that your electric busses are so heavy and are destroying the roads.

Good grief, seriously, they want to start measuring emissions from the tires and brakes, unbelievable!  Would "they" just stop already.

Back on early 2000s there was a big push by Government to encourage motorists to change to diesel cars, apparently better for the environment.  Then diesel was encouraged throughout Europe until The World Health Organisation declared diesel exhaust a carcinogenic around 2012.  Suddenly now if you drove a diesel you were destroying the planet.

Interesting article from the Guardian newspaper about the sudden change.

Oddly in Europe diesel lorries are still considered fine.

A shopper at a supermarket asks for a plastic bag, only to have his head slammed into the checkout counter by the “green police” (“You picked the wrong day to mess with the ecosystem, plastic boy”). Another man attracts a spotlight from a green police helicopter for a “compost infraction” as he’s about to bin an orange rind. The green police bust down doors after finding batteries in the trash. They haul people from their homes for installing incandescent lightbulbs.

I miss my incandescent lightbulbs. 🙃 Good article on the history of diesel and the condemning of it.  We had a lot of issues in the US in the first part of the Biden administration where we had diesel shortages.  This was also with Covid raging and all of the restrictions, people not working etc.  It brought to the front how important it is in keeping the supply chain working because all of the vehicles that count to move food and products run on diesel.
