An Image can reveal your location

    One of two videos (Second video coming soon) from Naomi Brockwell outlining the potential hazards of an innocent image uploaded to a public forum.

    Without becoming paranoid this is quite a fascinating 12 minute video showing how a simple selfie image can reveal your actual location.  In a lot of cases this may not be an issue as quite often a piccie may well have some well known feature in the background, guess if your image has Eiffel Tower in background then everyone knows you are in Paris.

    Hard to not become paranoid, totally freaks me out! 😱

    I actually checked some of my recent online pictures to make sure there wasn't any meta data.

    Excellent video and well worth the time to watch and refresh your security measures when posting pictures and video's online.
